A watched doorbell never rings
So I'm waiting for a package, that should be delivered between 9am-12pm. It's 10:40am. It hasn't arrived yet. I need to shower and change before 12pm, though.
My theory is that as soon as I get into the shower, the package will arrive, on the basis that if you wait for 90 minutes, things only will show up during the 10 minutes where it is most inconvenient for them to do so.
EDIT> I was wrong. It showed up at 11:27am, by which point I was already dressed and everything. Still, it's a good thing I didn't wait for it.
EDIT2> Grar. It's my own fault, but I asked Carl to send me my USB keyboard since I hate typing on my laptop, and... the thing was so dirty that it poured dirt and stuff all over the clothes in the box, so now I have to do laundry again. I took it apart to clean it out, hopefully it will survive the cleaning process. I'll find out later tonight; for now I need to go to work.
