Lazy Saturday

Eh... didn't do much today at all. Slept in, played some PP, watched some dorama, went to dinner at Snappy Dragon with Zach and Mindy and Carl. That's about it.

Oh, I did get together some of my stuff to start trying to sell it off in my "being less of a packrat" attempt. So if anyone wants to buy some of my old manga let me know. I'm sort of wondering if in the long run maybe I'll be better off just taking stuff to HPB though.

Is there a good place to donate old piles of yarn? Besides trying to foist it off on someone like Jonobie or Megan or whoever?

My grandmother takes old bits of leftover yard and makes wacky afghans out of them. Then she donates them to the homeless who don't care if they are orange, purple, and green. If you know a basic knitting stitch you could bang out an funky blanket pretty fast, if there is a donation group near you. Or you could send it to my grandma! :-)

Problem is I don't have time to knit anymore, nor any drive to, which is why the yarn just takes up space and isn't doing much good to anyone. Colleen actually suggested I give it to her sister, who knits every day and might be setting up some knitting consignment thing...
