Wheee moving
today was moving. whee. more things gone from here! CD towers gone, second game cabinet gone, gone, little bookcase gone, two boxes full of clothes, assorted other boxes from all over the place. Zach helped me a lot, and Oren helped some too, and we all went to ToI for dinner wheeeee.
Yeah, so I guess it was like, I did two trips by myself in the afternoon and then Zach and I carted recyclable boxes back here after dinner, and he carted a bunch of my stuff over in the station wagon, and then I came back here and have been packing more boxes and going through more stuff (man, I found the kanji wall clock Eli's grandparents gave me for christmas a few years ago, I should find a way to put it up in the new place somewhere)
I also took over a carload of stuff to Goodwill including my 13" TV. and I could probably take more.
something weird is that I keep finding 3.5" discs and I just... throw them out. seriously, my new computer doesn't even have a 3.5 drive and I can't imagine anything on them is THAT important. I threw out a 2400 baud modem yesterday and am still torn on whether to throw out my later mac stuff or not.
I have all these basketball cards that Proz gave me a few years ago. I have no idea what to do with them. stupid other sports that aren't baseball!
Anyway, I think next saturday, May 20, I'm going to try to get ahold of a big van (oren might have a lead on that) and would love help from another friend or two to move my couch, bed, and a few bookcases that day. I'll buy people dinner or something like that in return.
