OMGWTFVORP
I shouldn't be awake. I suck.
Trip home from Pittsburgh was okay. On the PIT-PHL leg of the flight I was sitting in the middle of the University of South Florida baseball team, which was pretty damn funny. On the PHL-SEA leg, I sat next to an extremely chatty Mexican lady who was studying Hebrew. I'm really not making that up. She kept asking me for help with Hebrew, and tried to talk to me in Spanish since I admitted I'd studied both of those languages. The in-flight movie was Fun With Dick and Jane, which was pretty funny. I had a cheesesteak in the Philly airport, too, which ruled.
Oren gave me a ride home when I got to Seattle. Yay.
Today at work I looked over Jack's shoulder and tried to learn lex and yacc by osmosis. I partially succeeded, at least enough that by the end of the day I was able to spot errors and such a little.
After work I went to the White Sox game. Eddie Guardado sucks and it went into extra innings. Johjima didn't play, so there was no Johjima-Iguchi Hawks Battle. I took pictures of Jon Garland warming up in the bullpen before the game. He's cute. I saw Matt Thornton in the bullpen, too. Whee. At least the Mariners won the game in the 11th inning, otherwise I would have been stuck there all night.
No attention span means I've been writing and doing random crap since and thus it's 2:30am and I'm going to sleep bye.

All my flights lately I've been with a bunch of anti-chatty people for rows around. Which is fine if you just want to sleep, but it gets boring after a while.

Speaking of closers (who don't give up runs at all), you should see the mohawk on Jonathan Papelbon.

I like A.J. dangit (saw you call him a name at Marinerds). He's very fun when he's on your team (well, the Twins thought so and the White Sox do, I guess the Giants didn't have a sense of humor about it). When he's not on your team, he's annoying I suppose.
I turned on the TV to Fox Sports Net North last night presuming the Twins might be on and I wasn't paying much attention to the game, but as more players names were mentioned I got increasingly confused. 'Til I looked at the Tivo info and saw it was a game from 2002 (specifically the opening day game against Kansas City). Trippy! Mr. Ortiz hit a homerun and I couldn't help but feel it'd be kindof cool if the Twins still had Ortiz and A.J. and Koskie and that old team. Then I remembered we'd also have Brian Buchanan playing outfield at times and Guzie and Rivas (who I liked once, but not so good now) and Eddie and . . . hrm.
I guess I'll take our current team. Though having Mr. Ortiz around wouldn't suck (but then the Red Sox might not have won the series and that'd be a shame).
