The Horde suuuuuucks
Sigh. I said I'd come to Fan Fest early and meet up with some of the other blogfolk, but we didn't get done playing the World of Warcraft boardgame until 1:30am. This time, Josh and Jarrett were Alliance, Cory and Justin and I were Horde. I was a warlock, Cory was the warrior, Justin was a... oh crap, a hunter or something? I dunno. Josh was a rogue, "Mike" was a paladin, and I think Jarrett was a priest.
We got totally totally smacked down in the final PvP, because they had people (everyone, I think) at level 5 and we couldn't get there. I think we made several large tactical errors and got boned by our quests mostly being either 1) inconvenient 2) bogged down by independent creatures. Grr. At least we lasted three rounds of the final PvP... I think last time we played, we Alliance took out Josh and Cory's Horde faction in about a round and a half, though it was partially because Justin was using a slightly broken Mage power. Ah well. This time I also didn't get nearly enough cool loot. My character didn't seem able to use or wear ANYTHING we picked up.
Um, but it was fun.
I'm going to go try to gather together some stuff for Fan Fest and then try to sleep. I really do want to get there early, but who knows. I'll be hanging out with other Mariners bloggers because I don't actually have any friends nuts enough to go to Fan Fest. Here's hoping I get autographs from either Felix or Johjima!
