I like skirts with slits because they're easier to walk in. Plus, in the hot summer nothing beats the cool breezy feeling of a light cotton skirt.

Well, I was trying to be a *funny* idiot.

I admit I've not worn skirts per se, but many years in the SCA gets one experience in very long tunics. I don't recall them being in the way of running if I had to.

Or are you talking more of shorter, tighter skirts, and not long, full skirts?

I was just sort of shocked when you commented that, since a) it was pretty far from the truth -- the thing that I accomplished was having to do with writing, but I didn't want to mention it outright for fear of jinxing it and b) my mom reads my LJ, so there are some things I will never, ever, ever allude to in public entries :P

The skirt I was wearing yesterday was a long denim skirt, so it was both long and a little bit tight. My issue was more that I kept expecting to be able to move like I could in pants, but there was all this cloth in front of me instead.

You're still on ddial? I haven't bothered looking back to that since... 1996 or so, when ENT-Dave made me log into his internet ddial thing.

is finished. But the diehards hang out on Yahoo's ddial forum. I collect AIM names from old ddialers I still want to talk to and leave it at that. Entchat has been down & dead since early this year. Oh well. :)
