Ok, I just don't get risotto. What's the big deal about it?

Dinner at LCF (la cucina flagrea) was pretty good anyway. I had eggplant ravioli, which was pretty good. Eli got the mushroom risotto, as did half the people at the table, and I just don't see why everyone makes such a big deal out of it. Oh well.

I did laundry tonight, which is good, and practiced trombone, which is good except I think I suck too much to play it in Kiltie, so I'll have to go see if there's an extra school baritone tomorrow. I also practiced DDR stuff incase of the tournament in Beaver next weekend and stuff. I played more Simcity, of course. It was a good evening.

What's even better is that since I spent all day doing this XML stuff for Andrew, I had a really productive day (trust me, when he wants you to get something done, you don't get a minute free to breathe until it's done). Which is sort of cool too.

Ugh, it's late though. I was sort of thinking that I'd go to sleep earlier today, but who am I kidding?

Huh, i had mushroom risotto for dinner last night too.

I guess one thing about risotto is that it is a real pain in the ass to make. Making it right requires standing around a stove for about 40 minutes slowly stirring more water (or broth or whathaveyou) into the rice. We cheated last night by using a pressure cooker, which worked really well. Anyway, hard to make means its sort of a treat. When its well done its very creamy.

Josh loves it. It can be sorta hit or miss for me.
