Saturday, May 7th: Deanna's birthday: Todai Seattle, 6:30pm

Okay, I thought about it for a while and decided that I still really just want to go to Todai for my birthday. My birthday is Saturday, May 7th.

If you are in town this weekend (which I know is not a lot of people), and happen to want to come down for this, let me know. I'm gonna call on Friday sometime to reserve a table. I'm just arbitrarily picking 6:30pm Saturday night because I can.

Todai is an all-you-can-eat Japanese food, sushi, seafood, desserts, etc place, in Pacific Place in downtown Seattle. They happen to give you a free meal on your birthday, which is why I want to go. I will warn that meals there cost like $23, but it is all-you-can-eat... if someone's really hedging on going because of the cost, I can defer some of my free meal to them :)

After dinner, depending on how many people there are that are interested, we'll either come back to my apartment and play games, or go to a bar or something and play games.

I'll be sending out email about this too, so I can make sure I reach people who don't necessarily read LJ...

So, please let me know if you can make it! Thanks.

ACK! You WOULD happen to pick this on the day that my mother wants to celebrate Mother's Day, and Kiefer will be recovering from minor surgery. I don't think we'll be able to make it. =( =(

Woo. I've been to the Todai in Las Vegas. Can't beat all you can eat sushi. I won't be able to make it, being on the other coast, but hope you have a great time & a great birthday.

I would have been there but you already know that I'll be out of town. We'll have to at least go to a game in the next week or so. :)

The only thing that beats a birthday on my 7th is a birthday on may 8th.

In related news, I appear to be shocking most people who haven't known me for more than 1-2 years when they find out I am 29 (most guess in the 24-25 range) - one of the advantages of having the maturity level of a 5 year old. NOW PULL MY FINGER!

I'll join you for Todai, probably guaranteeing a Sev2 at 6:45 in the process, but I'll take the chance given the circumstances.

Some thoughts from me:

1. I have no idea where this place is. (Maybe I could carpool with somebody or play follow-the-leader)
2. Never had Japanese food before.
3. Seems a bit on the expensive side.

On the other hand, it's been a LONG time since I last saw you :P.

Hmm, decisions, decisions.

I'm interested, that's if there's no one objecting to that.

Argh ... wish I could have gone, but have plans on the 7th. Sorry!
