bunny bunny quack quack
Ugh, today just kind of fell apart. D&D plans fell apart due to Justin's son puking up his guts, and then possible dinner plans fell apart... I ended up spending the first half of the day doing some PP stuff (I bought Llawela's tailor on Jorvik, so now I need to sell the Endurance shops, and I need to kickstart the Jorvik tailor. But, it took me like 3 hours to move the rack over from Endurance). Then I decided to go outside since it was a good day, and I walked around Greenlake. It's not only duckling season, but it is also bunny rabbit season. I should go back with a camera one of these days.
I came back here and watched the movie The Natural, which I hadn't seen all of before -- I'd just seen the first 10-15 minutes. It was pretty good. Entirely unrealistic, of course, but pretty good nonetheless. I thought it was sorta weird how they made Robert Redford's character always look sort of like a cross between Roger Maris and Ted Williams.
Oh, the other thing is that I actually worked on some knitting while watching it.
And another thing is that for lunch today I went to Maharaja Kitchen, which is an Indian place across the street from me. They have a $5.95 lunch buffet. Most of the stuff they had was mediocre, but their naan was good and their saag was AWESOME! So this is a very dangerous thing for me to know about... all-i-can-eat tasty saag and naan for $6? Eeek.
Hm, sleep soon, and I think tomorrow night I'm going to try to find Neumo's in cap hill, and see British Sea Power in concert. Maybe. I've never been to Neumo's and I've never actually heard BSP, but there's a relatively sane gang of people in PP who named their crew after them, so they can't be all bad. (were you thinking of going too,
