Hm, today was pretty good. Took care of a bunch of things I had been slacking on, like finally getting that baritone horn back to NWVenture, and some other misc paperwork stuff. I called my old officemate at Amazon to ask him if he'd be a job reference for me and we ended up talking for a while. I miss that group.

zenspider downtown for mediterranean food, and we hung out for a few hours at a coffeeshop up in cap hill (Bauhaus?), which was fun, even if my eyes are permanently going to be zapped from looking into the sunset so often. I kinda get the whole cap hill thing and at the same time, I don't.
I wandered around the area after Ryan went home... I called up a few people but they were all either busy or going out of town or something. I did wander through some of the bookstores in cap hill and was very tempted by a lot of books, but managed to only buy one, at the store with all the cats. I'll have to hit the CH HPB sometime when I have my coupons, though.
Hmm, and now that I know how to take the bus home from capitol hill I think I should go hang out there more often.

Hm, I should have called you. For some reason I blanked on you in my list of "people I know who live in Cap Hill" -- I think I thought you lived further out, like Central District or whatever?
But yeah, I need to go back to the Half Price Books there sometime, so I will be by there in the future, I hope.
