watchin' stuff and all

I got up when I was called in to be part of the YHY crew portrait on PP. I read the rest of Moneyball, and then fell asleep for another hour, and then it was time to go to Megan and Josh's house for stuff.

We watched the opening Red Sox - Yankees game, which was of course disappointing, but that's ok. After that we watched The Gamers, which I'd borrowed from the Tacoma gang a week or two ago. Everyone enjoyed it I think. Somewhere in there we had dinner, which was really great smoked pork and chicken sandwiches.

I came home and did gem runs on PP, while watching the Lions-Marines game on the Yahoo broadcast thingy, until it stopped working, and now I'm about done watching Mr. Baseball. (I really should probably just continue listening/watching the Japanese baseball broadcasts, even though I only understand about half of what they're saying right now -- it should only get better, right?) I get up in like 6-7 hours to get on the bus and go downtown and go to the Mariners opening game! Wheee.

I have an idea for a baseball book club. I just need to figure out logistics.

It wasn't a disappointing game if you wanted to see Matsui do well.

Well, looks like they won Opening Day. At least they can't have a losing record for the entire season now. ;)
