British rails, and more cute pirate pictures!

Wheeeeeeeee, today I went over to Nykkel's for, as he put it, "Deanna Theme Day", meaning that I'd get to make people play train games. Sadly Gary's Games didn't have copies of Ticket to Ride in stock, so I brought over Nippon Rails and British Rails. We (me, Nykkel, Phaedrus, and Farren) picked British Rails. We opened the box at 5:30 and were done at like 10:30. Meep. Well, first we had to assemble the chips, and I had to explain the rules, and then since we had 3 new players... yeah. It took a while. I won the game due to just kinda knowing how to plan ahead, I guess, although I did get hit by a few disasters, heh. I got the four cities linked pretty early, then went around collecting money. Arr. I have no idea if anyone else actually enjoyed the game, but at least I got them to try it.

The only thing is, since we played straight through the evening, all we had for dinner was cookies (mmm, cookies), so I gave in to my hunger and stopped by Jack in the Box on the way home and got an Ultimate in Cheeseburgers. Hee.

Been on PP for the rest of the evening. Pillage, plunder... I need to start pillaging a lot more to support my portrait habit. Got two new ones done today:

Nah, there's four cones setting off an entire goal region, and you just need a guy to catch the burger when they're somewhere in that region!
