D&D and stuff
Oh god why am I still up? Oh wait, I know... because I logged into PP to check my shops and Corby and Dorien and Friday and Sinlaeshel and Hazelnut and EVERYONE was on so we went sailing. It was good though.
I got up this morning at like 9:30am because they were testing fire alarms in the building. Eww. Stopped by QFC on the way to work, found out the Saturday Flogging Molly show is sold out and got a ticket for Friday's show. Whee. Worked. Hate work. 9 more days. Arr.
We had D&D tonight. Instead of Permanency, Janthina decided to put Summon Monster 5 on her spell list, and being a chaotic neutral burn mage, I summon a medium fire elemental. His name's Fireball! He's so cuuuuuuuuuuuute! Our party fought a banshee and got Mike's character killed again until we remembered his SR. Then later on we went into the Underdark, fought a summoned ice devil and again got Mike killed. I said it was like an episode of South Park, where Mike dies every week instead of Kenny. We also had a LOT of fun quoting Ghostbusters, as we were going in to fight the banshee. "That was your whole plan? Get her?" "I ain't afraid of no ghosts!" I think the real fun of D&D for me is just making lots of smartass remarks and making the whole room break up in laughter. Oh, and cookies. I brought cookies. Cookies make everyone happy. (And Megan and Josh made a faaaaabulous pot roast for dinner, which also made people happy.)

I think I discovered that about D&D (well, perhaps table top RPing in general) for myself awhile back XD Just about anyone I've ever RP'd with can tell you about the famous lines such as "Shooters here and shooters here", "BEER! WOMEN!" and "Only a gamer would bring dice to THAT!"
