bleh.
well, today we had D&D. it was pretty good. we continued where we left off two months ago, namely in the middle of some huge high-level drow temple. Had a big clusterfuck of a battle, and Mike's character got killed, which is funny because Mike isn't going to be in our D&D group anymore, and we're not sure what to do with his character anyway. For now we were going to NPP it, but maybe we should be finding another player instead, and having the character die is a nice segue to maybe introducing another character if necessary. it was a frustrating session because i couldn't seem to roll higher than a 5 on a d20, though. i literally failed every saving throw thrown at me, and never hit a damn thing on any to-hit roll, and barely managed a few spell penetration checks. ugh. At least I found a secret door at the end of the adventure. whee.
i am grumpy because i was going to hang out with someone tomorrow and i actually thought it was going to be pretty fun, but now he says he's sick, so bleh. oh well. i guess in theory i could try to catch evan and whoever else again, though i might still be too grumpy...

Diagnosis: Too Much Puzzle Pirates.
D&D calls them NPCs. :P

I deciphered that as "non-player player", which I thought was a very clever invention by
