I am not clever enough to think up a title for this entry
I have nothing exciting to say except that I just finished my last antibiotic pill. Two weeks of swallowing these huge things, but I am still sick. Kinda. It's mostly just that when I *do* cough, I cough a LOT. And I still cough more than normal. It sounds like a bunch of people have had this month-long virus or whatever though... the question is whether an end is in sight or if I'm eventually going to die when my lungs collapse from coughing.
Today was a flat day, really. I got our linux simulator to finally build and run on my computer (well, it builds, it runs, it downloads data, and then it segfaults, which isn't my fault). This took me upgrading about 4 things on my box, including gcc. It was dumb. But hey, I solved some stuff. Whee.
Finally got to play spades on PP with Carl, and he overbids :P Though I am still Legendary. Ketamine started playing PP again out of nowhere (I hadn't seen him on since July, he was one of my old BD crewmates, even was one of the people who tried me out, but he stopped playing PP and quit BD), and he's obsessed with getting his full ultimates back, which is hilarious, except we were both like "oh crap, I have to get one in Spades".
Also finally caught up with Gigza, who apparently decided to stop playing PP after Chern did. (I finally caught up with him too, thankfully.) You'd think I'd have the common sense to stop playing too, but no, I had to go join a crew and start getting to know new people. It's just as well though since seriously I don't want to go out in the evenings right now anyway, since coughing all over people is kind of unfun.
Argonaut wants me to write board game filk, as a compromise between baseball and PP. I'm thinking about it. What makes me sad is that NIN is utterly unfilkable, because I'd love to write something about Iron Dragon and relate it to "Nine Inch Rails".
