Skellies on Olivia - another PP song parody

Oh yeah, they're having another song parody contest on PP. This one's got "stories of the Midnight Ocean" as its theme, but sadly I can't enter Onto the Boat since it already won a prize in Medira's contest even if it's the best work I'll ever write parody-wise. Arr. I'm still not entirely happy with this one, some lines could be better, but I think as Argonaut said, "it preserves the mood of the original song, and 'his saber is really a chainsaw' is priceless."

Skellies on Olivia!

(based on a true story)

"Let us be crewmates, we'll tally our fortunes together
I've got some poe to waste here in this bank."
So we bought up all the cannonballs, and rum that we could find,
And sailed off to head for Olivia

"Cherny," I said, as we boarded the cutter on Alpha,
"Luthien seems like a dream to me now,
It took me four days to sail here from Lagniappe,
And I've come to fight on Olivia."

Laughing at our shots
Playing tag with the brigands
He said the man with the Conquistador builds too high
I said, "Be careful, his saber is really a chainsaw."

"Trade me a map or two, I don't have something to wager."
"I memmed the ocean a few weeks ago."
So I looked for a bid or three, he walked around the green,
And the skellies hid near an open field

"Cherny, we've lost," I said, when we'd taken a beating,
"I'm insta'ed and stalling and waiting to die,"
Counting our poe and alerting our hearties,
"Need one more, to fight on Olivia...
One more to fight on Olivia..."
