Tuesday

Today for lunch I tried a panini ham sandwich from Safeway because it was on special. It was actually pretty good. Go Safeway.

I wish I could focus on things.

I went over to Omni tonight to meet up with [profile] zenspider. That place is crazy, it's like a big old house that happens to be a software company now. I did not get to play on their Medieval Madness machine, but after talking for a few hours Ryan and I did play a bunch of Super Monkey Target. I still suck. Oh well.

So weird having the freshly reinstalled computer... I keep having to install things when I want them :)

Oh, in PP news: Today was exactly ONE YEAR since I started playing. How scary. I still blame [profile] nykkel. Also, they announced today that the Islay of Luthien will be open to blockade in a week and a half. October 2nd is the big day. I'm debating flying down to California that weekend and bringing a laptop; that way if I'm going to be on PP for most of a day, at least maybe I can be there with Kui or someone. (Yes Brian -- I'm still in for the baseball game on Oct 1, I'd fly down on Saturday morning) We'll see. Either way I'm kind of itching to go to CA some weekend to play IIDX and see I-Gene's house and stuff.

You should fly out to Austin for that weekend! You can bring Kui with you.

I want to come down to Austin for an extended weekend sometime when I can really see my friends.

Ideally I'd go on like Thanksgiving but I don't know if people would be there then...

Hmm. Well, Rune and I will be here on Thanksgiving. I do an "Orphan Thanksgiving" every year. Partly because it's an excuse to cook a whole lot of food, but mostly because most of my friends here don't have family in town.

Wooo, that might not be a bad idea then. I'll look into plane tickets when it gets a little closer to Thanksgiving maybe, and ask around my other Austin friends to see who'll be there, and whatnot. It'd certainly be nicer than being up here in the cold wet November.
