Update

Yeah, so I got on the flight from Baltimore to Cincinnati. The lady at the desk said our connections would be ok since everything Cincinnati-related was delayed. (No not due to data glitch -- weather apparently)

So my original flight schedule was 6pm out of baltimore, arrive 7:40 here, then 9pm from here, 11pmsomething Seattle.

Unfortunately, we didn't leave Baltimore until 7:30 or so. (There was no ice cream in my terminal. I walked across the airport looking for ice cream while delayed.)

So we got to Cincinnati at 9:10pm.

My flight to Seattle departed at 8:57pm.

Fuckers.

So I'm here in Cincinnati for the night; the airline won't pay for a room because this is "weather-related" but they did give a huge discount on the airport hotel ($50 for a night, I guess that's not too awful). Fortunately my hotel has an actual net connection with an actual ethernet cable plug, so I decided to go for that, and so.. I guess I've been on Puzzle Pirates for the last 3 hours then :) Catching up on my tailor work and chatting with people. Whee!

Guess in theory I need to wake up at like 6am to get on the 9am flight to Seattle... I wonder what will happen to that interview I was supposed to have at 11am tomorrow. Sigh. At least I get to see [profile] mj2q soon.

They wouldn't give you a room? Well that sucks. I hope you got home ok and that your interview didn't get completely hosed.

Bummer. If I knew about this yesterday, I could have done something since I have family in Cincinnati. Though I'm sure that I'd have been more useful if I was also in Cincinnati and not Seattle. Hopefully, you get out of there without hating my hometown too much.

Good luck.
