Tuesday -- randomness
I spent the afternoon of Tuesday sitting around playing Puzzle Pirates. Gigza and I did a huge navving/memming trip to Jet, in which time I think I managed to get exactly one point memmed. Doh.
Had been talking to Arrvid on PP though, he was on my OCL team last season and is a pretty nice guy, and he lives in San Francisco, so after he waited to make sure it was ok with his girlfriend, we made plans to, well, hang out, unsure of exactly what. The odd thing was that on the way over to his place I realized that I actually knew nothing about him whatsoever except from chatting during OCL matches and a few dockside meetings. Well... it would be interesting :)
It was! He turns out to be this random nice guy who plays board games and is in community college and is the same age as me and stuff. So we went to a ghetto sushi place where you order like 16 rolls for $5 and had a ton of sushi, and then walked around the Mission-Castro-Market-etc area for a while. We talked about a whole buncha stuff. It was pretty cool. Eventually because we are big nerds, we went back to his place and drank tea and talked and logged into PP on two computers and did swordfighting while looking over each other's shoulders. At some point we decided it'd be better to watch each other fight someone else, and conveniently right then Cioj logged in so we got him to come and fight us. It was really kinda funny to see someone else who's really good at SFing setting up their attacks and whatnot.
I guess I was there until 1 or 2am, then got a ride back here and stayed up way too late... talked to Adam in real life for an hour or so, then ended up logging into PP for a bit and talking to Chern for way too long.

Yeah, that was really weird when he and I were trading CMU people's names. Very odd.
I'm supposed to meet him tonight in person in theory. It should be... interesting.

I would imagine it has the potential to be an interesting list of people. And had you felt as though you should have already met him by now?
