Wednesday
Today I took Roman around for touristy Seattle stuff since I slept kinda late.
We went to Blue C Sushi for Kaitensushi (an obvious tourist stop). Then to Safeco to get tickets to tonight's game (got the same nice guy at the ticket window and he got us seats in section 117 row 5, NICE), and then to Uwajimaya/Kinokuniya, where I couldn't find much I was interested in buying so I got some Kirin Gogonogocha for parking validation cost.
Went to the piers next... walked around and took pictures, then I dragged Roman through Pirate's Plunder and Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe. (Which reminds me oh CRAP I have a funny joke idea but I gotta tell Kui) Then we headed back here for an hour or so and then took the bus back down to go to the ballgame.
I have figured out that it doesn't help the Mariners for me to attend if I kinda like the other team. Because hm, I like Mark Teixeira and Hank Blalock and both of them hit big home runs yet again today. So uh yeah, the Mariners lost again while I was there. It was almost close at the end though... they went into the 9th inning down 9-3 and then managed to bring it to 9-6 with two guys on base and Randy Winn up. And he popped foul and Blalock actually DROPPED it... if Winn had kept the rally going it woulda been crazy but he popped out for a third out and that was it.
Came back here. I'm gonna go to sleep soon so we can get up and in theory drive to Mt. Rainier tomorrow and go walking/hiking. Wheeeee. Then head to California on Friday... assuming I can figure out logistics of a place to stay on Friday and a ride to SF on Saturday night or Sunday morning...
