sunday - canada

I'm in Canada! At fuj's place. typing brief entry on phone.

Woke up early for me, got lunch with Eli. Our plans for Ototo were thwarted and we ended up at a panasian place instead. After that I went home for a bit, grabbed some stuff and hit the road. Guess I got out of the gas station by northgate around 3:45pm. Called my dad and talked for half an hour while on the road and listened to lots of Indigo Girls, and Kemuri. Had a halfhour wait at the border, and told the border dude I was visiting a DDR friend and he laughed.

Got to Fuj's at 7pm or so. We went to A&W for dinner, met up with his friend Joel and went to some Kevin guy's house for karaoke. It was pretty silly overall and I sang very little. Then we went to Cameron's place for pop trivia pursuit and watching a pretty funny Canadian TV show called Trailer Park Boys or something. Now it is late, we are back and I'm gonna open some baseball cards Fuj gave me and then sleep. Whee!

Dude she watched Trailer Park Boys too, one of the greatest artworks of Canadian cinema...that's like the epitome of the ultimate day...brought down of course by the fact that she had to listen to me sing, among other things, an improv version of Secret Agent Man which made fun of one of my coworkers and his mom :D

I dunno, I've been listening to Kemuri fer like 6 years now. The visiting Fuj is what made the day awesome.
