Japan pictures and stuff

I woke up at 4pm today. Ugh. I was supposed to get up at 10am and finish my taxes and hang out with Farren. So I suck.

On the other hand, I've finished my taxes AND finished making at least a Photothumb page of some of my Japan pictures. I picked out around 60 of my 600 or so and wrote up quick descriptions and such, so you can see them all:

Now, I need to go get envelopes, eat some dinner, pack, and then DJ said he'd give me a ride to the airport, and he'll be here around 9ish. Hmm. I hope I can pull this all off in an hour :)

See you guys in Pittsburgh! I have like NO plans for the week so far (aside from Mad Mex friday night and Barbara's party on Sunday), so please feel free to ring my cellphone, okay?

Trying to remember where that Pop 'n Music picture (1st page, 3rd image) is from. I think that was the Shinjuku arcade where we waited for Hitoshi to finish up the stuff he needed to do in that internet cafe? Looks like I was playing Candy (vocal). As a side note, I finally managed to full-Perfect it the day before I left. Believe it's a 23. :)

I'm still puzzled why they didn't bother making the Japanese version of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" rhyme properly. That's the last picture on page 4.

Suspect most people reading this LiveJournal post probably aren't going to understand the in-joke behind the "Abunai desu kara..." picture -- page 4, first picture on the second row. Perhaps Deanna would like to give a better explanation, but in short, there's a recorded voice that comes on when trains are arriving at most of the JR stations. One of the things it tells you is to "Stay behind the yellow line, because a train is coming (and it would be dangerous to stand closer to it than that)". That's what the "Abunai desu kara" thing is talking about, and the sign in the picture just says "Abunai!" (Danger). The sign is kinda funny in itself, though.
