More wishlist

Oh, yeah. [profile] elletweedy's journal just reminded me that if any of you are still trying to think of things to get me for Christmas, a more complex RCA switcher would be great. The best I've found is the current one I'm using, which takes in 3. (However, to have my full array of systems up, I could use one that takes in 6 or 7...)

Dan reminded me that I should get a copy of the Manual of the Planes, but I'm holding off on that too.

You know what else sucks? I have really only gotten Christmas presents for a few people so far, and none of them are the important ones, although I guess in theory I got my dad a present already in November, and sort of got my mom something. I am a total blank for what to get most of Eli's family, although the pictures idea is good - we should go to Fotoshop one of these days, hmm.

Looking around online, it's easy to find 4 to 1 switchers for less than $50. For some reason, there's a big jump beyond that. If you want a 6-way, it seems like you have to be prepared to drop $200+ on it. Of course, they do come with niceties like a remote control selector, but still...

well, you can get a 7->1 for $100...
(4->1 + 4->1 = 7->1)
