The ungrateful undead

Today I heard someone say in the hall behind me, "I didn't know there was a Takahashi playing for the Giants." Hee.

(This makes more sense if you know I was wearing my Yoshinobu Takahashi #24 jersey... for the Yomiuri Giants.)

I got home from work in 33 minutes from desk to desk. Not too bad. I had to run to catch two of the buses, but oh well. Josh picked me up and we went to Cory's house for D&D, where we are not actually apparently really closing down on the final battle. Doh! Well, we still had fun. We got *out* of the sewers by fighting all the undead thingies, and that was basically the entire session. I set off a particularly effective Flaming Sphere, which trapped a bunch of undead in the tunnels, which was pretty funny. We had levelled at the end of last session to level 6, and I decided to take Natural Shape as my feat, so my druid can cast spells while wild shaped. My joke was that I was going to shapechange into a bird and fly around battles landing on people's shoulders and casting cures on them. Whee.

Came home, played the game with the puzzles and the pirates and stuff. I made up another little filk today ("Feelin' Gunny", like "Feelin' Groovy" by S&G). Must work on better ones, as Thusnelda and Squid both totally outdid me after that. On the other hand, a certain cool pirate may be visiting Seattle next month and is interesting in playing Pop'n'Music. That should be fun, if I can take him to IZ. Whee. I got to pick on Nykkel as he debated the color purple, and then I got to take out a full sloop on a huge fun pillage. I like huge fun pillages. Arr! I got another outfit tonight too. I really need to make more icons one of these days.

I had something relevant to say here, but I forget what. Game day is probly the 24th. I suck. Yay.
