Resolutionary Girl Janthina

Bah, 5am is a great time to post your new year's resolutions when you've finally figured them out kinda. (I can edit in the morning, I'm sure)

0. Straighten out my life. Make things work. Cut loose ends. Etc.
1. Lose weight. Sorry, it's always on there.
2. Take the General GRE's and the Computer Science subject GRE's.
3. Go back to Japan; go to Hokkaido to see the Fighters play in the Sapporo Dome!
4. Go to 4 cities I've never been to. Visit a new country. (England, maybe!)
5. Work on changing my sleeping habits to suck less.
6. Get better at managing time in general, and planning and whatnot.
7. Watch more of my unwatched VHS tapes.
8. Read more of my unread books.
9. Become more focused on work.
10. AAA a Heavy song on DDR in the arcade.
11. Find a new music group to play in.
12. Practice my journalism skills and do some significant baseball writing.
13. Take better care of myself healthwise (ie the stomach issues and the foot issues)
14. Write 5 new songs.
15. Meet more new people in Seattle of an appropriate age group and interest group.
16. Become a happier, better person, less bitter and less petty, now a floor wax AND a dessert topping!
17. 幸せを探す。。。

I would put "Play less Puzzle Pirates" and "Write shorter Livejournal posts", but we all know those would never happen :)

That's about it. I actually worked through two of the sample CS tests, and they're bears. IIRC, there are about 80 multiple-choice questions, and a handful were just too hard for me to solve -- I didn't have enough background to understand what the questions were asking. A handful were solveable at a glance. The rest (about 70 of the 80) were doable, but required a lot of thought and reasoning; much more than there would be time for on the actual test. So it seems like the key is practice to build up speed on the ones you can actually tackle. Practice individually requires discipline, which I lack :-), but might be easier to make a habit of in a group.

Where can you get a practice book? I couldn't find any online.
