Hi, I'm Rainbow Brite, and I'll be your gunner for the evening.
I got a new goofy outfit in Puzzle Pirates, hence the new icon. This isn't actually the full outfit, I have a red tricorne on the way, the bandanna is a mere placeholder. I swear, I'd never gotten so many compliments on my PP outfit before today... but hey, Spinn said "crew uniform, not crew colors", so I went with... all colors!
Today I slept in a little, played some PP in the afternoon (went out pillaging with Farren, since we were supposed to hang out at Narrows today, but I booched that plan), then Fuj, I-Gene, Laura, and Bev came over and I spent a few hours hanging out with them. Fuj and I opened up baseball card packs from the late 1980's, which was way fun. (Everyone else was looking at pictures of yesterday's Karaoke party or posting inside jokes to some BBS, neither of which was very interesting to me, as I hadn't been at the party.) I hadn't opened baseball cards since 1988 or so! Har! Maybe a little later, but anyway, it was pretty neat. I got a few cards I wanted, and I found some cards for Fuj, mostly rookies and whatnot. He gave me like 100 baseball cards... whee! I'll have to look up stats on some of these players and figure out if it's worth keeping the cards or not. I did get some neat ones though. I played some PNM, everyone played some PNM, then we got food at Jack in the Box (Fuj Standard), came back and looked through some more baseball cards, Laura played Minimoni Shakkato Tambourine, and then everyone had to leave so Laura could be home at her curfew of 8pm or whatever. Whee.
I spent the rest of the night on Puzzle Pirates. I had intended to get some productive things done today -- I did get 30 movies of mine entered into a spreadsheet, and then I also sorted my pictures directory on my computer by months instead of by category, so now I might get some headway on catching up on picture pages and stuff. And PP was pretty good - Carl and Oren and I went out pillaging, and then I jobbed with Moonchilde and his crew, and then Spinn and Patchwork and I had a superiffic short pillage, and then I practiced guns a tiny bit more so I'm now 9th on the gunnery experience page for my arch (but I'm sure it's a temporary thing). Yar!
