insomnia and other fun things
Yes, the time stamp is for real.
I can't sleep, I'm just too stressed.
Anyway, aside from stress afterwards, it was a pretty good day. We went to a games party at Megan and Josh's house (which is why I didn't go to any of the other things I was invited to today). I spent the whole day hangin' out with Cory and Justin, which was pretty good. We played Puerto Rico with Josh and I won (40 and 6 coins to Cory's 40 and 1 coin), and we played Taj Mahal with Mike and I won (I forget the score). We gave up on games and pondered going to see the Matrix, but then gave up and sat and talked about D&D and movies in the living room for like an hour. I'm borrowing Josh's 7th Sea book and thinking about running a Pirate-themed RPG of some sort sometime. Around 11pm we gave up and went home too, giving Jarrett a ride home on the way.
At one point I proved that I know all 50 states and their capitals, but Colleen and I both couldn't somehow distinguish Arkansas from Kansas, when written in my awful handwriting.
I'm not going into much detail there about the day, but it really was a pretty good day, I had fun hangin' out with the guys given that we've been skipping D&D weeks and not getting together for games as often. Thanksgiving and all... and schedules are really going to get shot to hell after new year's. Sigh.
Then I got home and blah.
At least in theory I get to see I-Gene and Fuj and people tomorrow. If I can even hold my head up. Bleh.
The dumbest thing is that they changed all this stuff in Puzzle Pirates, so now I suck at gunnery. My one good thing and it's gone. On the other hand, cutters now have 8 guns. They're pretty sweet if you get enough people to take one out pillaging. I made like 3k poe today, so I went and ordered the outfit I thought would be hilarious to make. We'll see how it comes out.

Seriously, I can't decide if I want to run the 7th Sea ARRRRPG or just try an ocean-riffic D&D variation. Must ponder more.
