From the edge of the great big sea
Today was ok. We ditched thanksgiving lunch and went to Tropics for Thai food instead. It was good. I did some writing for Paul. Yar.
Eli and I went to Eastlake and it sucked as per usual, and then we went to Taste of India for dinner. Which didn't suck. Infact the service was better than ever there, they were really fast with the food and they kept our chai cups totally full and all. It only got slow when it came to getting a check - We sat there forever waiting for it. Geez.
We stopped by Half Price Books and sigh I bought a bazillion movies and a couple baseball books. I'm such a junkie. At least we had a 15% off coupon. Seriously... I should watch more movies given how many I buy.
PP was pretty good tonight. I jobbed for Carl, which means we went around kicking ass and taking names. It was very peaceful aside from the part where we were blowing up stuff; peaceful in the "no stress" sense. Just us and the high seas! The stress was when I found out that my Famous Blowfish was at Guava. WTF. So I had to move it back to Turtle, and argh, that took me like two hours. I got attacked every which way... won every battle, but still :)
Oh! Something wonderful that happened today is that a coworker put the first two Great Big Sea albums up for sale for $5 each on our version of misc.market, and so I bought them from her. I'd never actually heard GBS before and now I'm a huge humongous fan. I'm not kidding. They are PERFECT music for Puzzle Pirates.
