Burritos, models, and pillage, oh my!
I've noticed I don't feel like I have anything interesting to say anymore. I was at work early today for a meeting. Isn't that interesting? Eli and I went to Eastlake, and then to Gordito's for dinner. Mmm, Gordito's... I still love how we can spend $6 and it's more than enough burrito for two people!
After that,
jeliza came over and I modelled for her for a photo shoot for her thesis project. I wore my infamous red prom dress from the Claritech 2001 party, and she shot a bazillion pictures of me in various poses. (She said I looked like a model for Seventeen, har!) The project was to represent femininity but also to represent it in reality... so she also took pictures of me sitting like my normal self, with my Nippon Ham Fighters jersey over the dress, and my red converse hi-tops on my feet, etc. Hopefully it'll turn out cool! 'Cause I'm young and I'm hip and so beautiful. I'm gonna be a supermodel. And everyone is gonna dress like me. Wait and see.
Uh, so anyway, back to the normal funnylooking self-conscious Deanna... Puzzle Pirates went a little bit better tonight in terms of pillage, that's fer sure. Had some good battles, had some bad battles, had a few brigands run off again, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as last night. But it was a vaguely sad day for other reasons... first I got vaguely told off by Nemo on the PP forums for venting about last night's lousy brigands, and then tonight Alie said she's probably quitting the game for a while. She trained me to be an officer, so I'm all like "<starwars>NOOOOOOO!!!!</starwars>". It makes me sad. The whole crews thing in general makes me sad in some ways. I like going around with my friends... I like my crew too, but I haven't had time to job with any crews outside my flag since like, the first or second day of Midnight. Sigh. I don't really have time to spend socializing in the game like a lot of other people do; I'd rather be out there blammety blam blamming, and talk on ship... I dunno.
Time for sleep and stuff. I may bus out to IZ tomorrow night to hang out with Farren. Depends on how cold it is.
