Sunnyvale Day Sunday
I don't think I really need to write an entry, as that picture pretty much will tell you EXACTLY what I spent all of today doing.
Okay, we literally did wake up and go right to SVGL though. The IIDX machine was EMPTY so I ran up to it and started playing. I-Gene and I pretty much switched off on it for 5-6 hours, except a few interlopers. Like Corey (ver2) showed up and he did a 14-key expert course, and since he'd bugged me to let him go ahead of me in line he paid for my next game. It was funny, I didn't expect him to recognize me but he actually talked to me for a while. Shrug. There was another guy who got in the IIDX rotation for a bit but we don't know who he was and he left after 3 games. I did play 3 games of Drummania though, and one I sessioned with Ryan. Mostly Ryan and Carisa and Rem played DDR all day. Tim S showed up and played Simpsons pinball and I played some Medieval Madness, but their machine was also broken. No other Bemani people were there... I guess Sundays are slow.
But yeah, I really did play IIDX for like 5 hours straight. (I tried to write up a list of songs I played but I'm not sure I got them all.)
And yes, I was at SVGL all day and didn't step on the DDR machines once. It's mostly because I didn't actually eat anything before going there, and was worried about my stomach.
We went to Tied House for dinner with Rem, Ryan, Carisa, and I-Gene, and then I-Gene took me to the SJC airport, where we talked for a half hour or so and then I got on a plane and came back to Seattle. Eli picked me up from the airport. Yay.
