But we discover which is right... and which is at Illusionz

They gave me a laptop at work today. PH34R. I released some documents. DOUBLE PH34R.

Went to IZ tonight, dragging along [profile] rkane because heck, I met him originally playing DDR, so I thought we should go play DDR. Picking him up was a pain, but we got to IZ okay. There were a few people there I guess, like Edgars and Allan and Jeremy and Tony (another MS dude who knew Jeremy), and Tanya and Charlie and Tada and Tyler and Alanthemighty and I think that's it. Mark and I played a whole lot of DDR together. [profile] proz, I got four new heavy AA's. Sana gives me such trouble (3x I get 30-35 greats and a few non-combo steps, 2x I can FC it with 50-60 greats, what to do?!?!?!). KCET gives me trouble too - I can FC it now but my PA is awful. I think Mark's around the skill level I was at when I came to Seattle, but he has more stamina... I bet he could be better than me by the end of the summer if he started playing regularly!

Anyway, I introduced Mark to the joys of Drummania and Guitar Freaks, and he seemed to enjoy those, especially Session, and I showed him PNM and PPP, and unfortunately KBM was broken and down, sigh. And the prices were all wrong too. And Samba de Amigo was booted up but the card reader was turned off! Grr. We left at closing time, and I drove Mark home and stopped in for a while to visit since his roomate Jon is also an Amazon intern who will be sitting at my old desk and working with my old group. Lucky! So we sat around talking about computer science stuff until like 2am, and I got to try Mountain Dew Orange. It felt like being at CMU again. Cool. Hopefully we'll have fun times like this some more this summer.

Just one of those songs you have to practice. It's one of my all-time favorites so it took a lot of persistence to finally AA it. I still don't always AA as the tricky rapid 16th's will get me at times.

I don't know if you do this but I now turn on Solo mode for all songs now to make it easier to read off-beats.
