People celebrate birthdays in different ways. Robin doesn't celebrate birthdays and I don't know that many people around here, so for the last 2 years, my birthday has gone quietly uncelebrated except for an e-mail or a phone call from home. Personally, I haven't received a birthday gift in years... no wonder I'm having trouble remembering. I'm highly expecting my 23rd to come and go with nary a whisper, as I wake up and look at my watch and see 6:57 staring me back in the face and think "Oh wow, I'm 23. It's too damn early. *snore*"

And I guess it's okay -- I like being low-key, for the most part.

So, umm... I think I lost my point...
