wednesday IZ rawr
Stoopid livejournal. Probably a good thing. I got my gaming entry in and that's all that really matters I guess. IZ tonight was fun, traded DDR games with Farren, sessioned with a random stranger Wes who was REALLY fucking good at GF/DM. Got my first AA on a 9-footer, I'm sure you can guess which one. IZ was relatively uncrowded. They were filming some sort of commercial there. Work was good today too, I got a project that doesn't suck to work on. Hemant stopped by, it's weird not having the CMU guys in my hall anymore. Hm, I'm looking forward to this weekend, some friends are coming down from Canada and staying here, and there's the Team Tourney. Only problem is when I'll have time to clean the house and buy soda/snacks. Maybe tomorrow, depending on if/when we bowl/DDR. At least I did laundry tonight... which is why I am up so late. Oh, and I hope Steve gets better! It'd be really bad if the tournament director was sick. :(

You might not be thrown off on my home set up, but I don't know what you have. The CF pads are pretty nice.
Anyway the arcade is the important place to be good, cause that's where other people see you.

Eh, you gotta admit, if I AA'ed End of the Century, that would totally count, even though it wasn't a 9 until MAX2. There's others, but I'm forgetting offhand.
I mostly get thrown off at home because I'm not used to playing in socks anymore, and when the pads move around, that's baaaaaaaad. I don't know what the CF ones are like.

Yes, End of the Century deserves to be 9. I more hold myself to that rule than other people. I was mostly just giving you a hard time.
The CF pad witht he grip tape don't move noticably (the other was supposed to come with it, but we seem to have lost it) and when they are in the double platform that greg built they don't move at all. They could likely take shoes, but I don't encorage that since we are hard enough on our pads as it is. I've seen movies of people playing on CF pads with shoes.
