Why I am disappointed in toysnjoys

Hmm, today. I went to Westlake for lunch with [personal profile] megami which was something new and different. I felt kind of bad since Gilly wasn't at EB though - I don't really know what days he works, sometimes I see him when I go past it and sometimes I don't. (And I only go there like once or twice a week.) Anyway, it was fun, and I forgot how long it takes me to eat a salad when I'm actually talking to someone. Whoops.

After work I came home, and we were supposed to go bowling with Megan and Josh, but they had other stuff to do, so instead we ate bagels and lox, and tortellini, and then I was going to watch a movie or something but I had remembered that I wanted to check on that toysnjoys delivery. Well, so HERE's a story: I looked at the UPS page and it said "delivered at 2pm on Jan 27th." Well, I knew Eli had not received a package. So wtf? Then I saw it said "delivered: location: back door". Well, for anyone who doesn't know, it's been rainy in Seattle for the past several days (duh). So I look out back... and sure enough there's a package. I guess it's been out there for THREE DAYS NOW. It's not like they left a NOTE at the front door or anything. Argh.

Well, I brought it in, opened it up... and it's a KeyboardMania controller and the KBM 1 game. Unfortunately, WHERE THE FUCK IS THE REST OF MY ORDER? I run upstairs and write an email to Toysnjoys like WTF? And then go back down... and open it up... plug it in... play the game... it seems to be in perfectly working condition even after sitting out there for three days. Shrug. KBM sucked until [profile] zqfmbg told me how to play on high speed. Then it got a lot better, and I found myself able to pass a whole lot of songs on Real (basically everything up to 4 stars and some 5's).

Whee. I'm working on my "Konami Originals" tape. I was originally just going to do all Japanese songs, but it was fun to add in things like the original Neverending Story, and Ordinary World, and other bits and pieces I have on random tapes/CDs. In the process, I'm listening to a whole bunch of 80's and 90's stuff. Whee. Oh, and I translated Still My Words from IIDX because, well, I was listening to it and realized I understood 90% of what she was saying offhand anyway. I really should translate more IIDX stuff... I'll have to take on Rislim next.

I've been considering making more and more of my entries friends-only even if they don't need to be. I'm not sure why.

hehe, I have two journals, a public one and a personal one. People are filtered respectively cuz... some ppl can know stuff others can't, hehe =P. And are u sure the whole order is shipped at once? There could be separate orders though... go call them up :)

taiko no tatsujin is really hard to get right now, but they are fools for not telling you they didn't ship it all. I can't remember what else was in your order.

I've had taiko no tatsujin on order from hyper game action since Jan 2nd.

My current issue with LiveJournal and security levels is what to do with entries that have some content I only want some people to read but some content I want everyone to be able to read. I find myself wishing for a way to specify different friends groups for different lj-cuts. (Presumably a viewer would not even know the cut was there if they didn't have access to it.)
