Short entry about the day; longer entry about a new journal
Today I went to work, came home, went to Megan and Josh's house, played piano, had yummy dinner, played Carcassonne Hunters and Gatherers, won, came home. :) I ate too much popcorn at M+J's house but overall I had a really good time with them, as usual! I'm glad they invited us over. At work I worked on LOTR and Harry Potter themes for our intranet, which was kinda fun.
As some of you have already discovered, I'm trying an LJ experiment. I'm not sure the proper way to do this, but I created a second journal,![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
janthina, which will be my gaming journal - I'm going to try to separate gaming accomplishments and progress and thoughts from my normal journal. This will not only make it easier for me to keep track of progress, in theory, but it will make my journal less bulky for those of you who don't really care about how I'm progressing at various games... and those of you who DO care about the progress I'm making (I'll state that I expect it to mostly be a DDR/IIDX progress tracker, with DrumMania and KBM thrown in on the side) can choose to read it and I'll feel less guilty about wasting your time with useless data.
If it doesn't work out, it's all good - since "Janthina" is one of my alter handles anyway, maybe I can still use the journal for something else. I'd vaguely considered making it a community for a small group of people to post their progress in Bemani games as well. I dunno. At any rate, it'll be interesting to see how it progresses!
