We're in Philly...
Ok, so we're in Philly now. Yay.
Eli is wonderful, he drove me all the way across the state so I can go to my cousin's bar mitzvah and all. It was uneventful except that when we stopped for dinner at this one rest stop, we ran into tons of random people. Mike Breen was there (also on his way to Philly) and like ten people from the Ballroom Dance Club were there - they are on their way to a competition in DC this weekend. That was weird, to randomly run into so many people on the turnpike.
I had a presentation at work today. It went okay, I guess. I was mostly ranting at people about usage of our core web site. I'm glad it's done with. It has also been interesting this week since people have been saying nice stuff about the work I've done, which makes me feel more like a good employee and less like a slacker.
Yay. So tomorrow we'll be doing the bar mitzvah and south street, and Sunday we'll be getting dim sum with Stewart (Clamen, who some of you know from Claritech and CMU). Yay!
Oh yeah. We listened to a bunch of random music in the car on the way here. I really, really have to get a copy of "Ladies of the Canyon" by Joni Mitchell. Good stuff.

good luck figuring out where you want to go (and in P-chem. My boyfriend has a bumper sticker on his car that says "Honk if you passed P-chem" from his undergrad days at Harvey Mudd. We were once driving to a place on the south side of pittsburgh and someone was honking at us like mad. The other car pulled up and the guy yelled "I got a B! What did you get?" and we're like "what kind of insane person is this?" and then he yelled "In P-Chem! What did you get?" and Eli was like "Oh. I think I got a B..." and the guy was like "Hardest damn course I ever took!" and drove on.)
Hmm, I'm not sure why I just told that story.
