Saturday spent on more DDR, what else is new?
I went to brunch with Eli at Mae's cafe up on Phinney. Then I went to Illusionz, picking up Allan on the way, we stopped by a music store and I bought drumsticks! Yay! Got to IZ at like 3:30. I stayed until closing, taking a break around 10pm to eat food from Jack-in-the-Box. I'VE BEEN AT ILLUSIONZ TOO FUCKING MUCH THIS WEEK. Something like 27 hours. I think that's more time than I've been at work this week.
I mean, it's just, Farren and Kiefer both showed up at 9pm and I was all tired and apathetic by then and I was thinking I should have stayed around with Eli and walked and seen ducks in the afternoon and THEN gone to the arcade. Of course then I wouldn't have gotten to see Ryan and Becky, and some of the portland people, and Lith and Tanya and Zerocool (even if they were there for only a bit), and Eiji, and Amber and Rayna and Aaron drove up from Tacoma, and finally I talked to Derrick-the-5-legged-guy, and I met Damien-the-old-Quarters-manager, and Alex-some-guy-from-Quarters, and... lots of people. I did get to test out my new drumsticks a lot on the DrumMania set, and I played a LOT of PPP. I think I can now do Ultra High Heels, Popteen, Jam Jam Jam, and Kiss Kiss Kiss... I mean, I can't do 'em without the arrows or dancer, but I'm okay at following them on the machine. That leaves only three songs that I ABSOLUTELY totally do not know, off of Derick's list. Assuming he's actually HAVING the Para Para tournament next weekend. I'm going to get dressed up for it. It's gonna be cool.
Anyway, I played a literal ton of DDR Extreme today, too. I AA'ed Mobo Moga, which made me really happy. I even played a set of doubles (Pink Rose maniac double isn't so bad), and I dunno, I passed a few new songs too. Haha, after eating dinner I played the Love Heart whatever nonstop light, and FC'ed it, 699 steps. :) It was funny. I did get a really nice Marvelous/Perfect/Great ratio though.
I'm home now. I've been at the arcade WAY too fucking much this week. Gotta cut back... but I have had such a good time... but I feel so dumb spending so much time there... but... arrrrrgggh..

What will be even sillier will be making a second road trip, with Pace, Ponta kun, et al. But we'll plan to spend the whole weekend there, not just one day. :D
