Whee. Work and stuff. Home and stuff. IZ and stuff.
IZ was better tonight, barely any lines on the EX machines after 9pm. Lots of dumb little kids, and for some reason a bunch of people who were like "YOUR SHIRT IS SO COOL! I LOVE ANIME!" (I'm wearing my Megatokyo 1337 shirt). Overall it was fun to play more Extreme, really. For a while it was me and Allan and Zerocool on the airhockey-side machine switching off. Allan and I played some lame nonstop course and got our highscores on the machine :) Some other people were around. Finally put a face to a name for Tyler, but still no name for whatshisface-the-regular guy, nor the guy with the ponytail. Hyunsuk and his wife showed up as usual at like 10:30pm, and Grouchboy was there early, and apparently I missed a lot of the UW crew like Shiguma and Keevon.
I forget accomplishments if anything. Really, I was just having fun playing lots of PPP, DM, and DDREX. I was feeling stomachsick because I hadn't eaten enough food, so I didn't try anything TOO hard. I did pass Butterfly Oni, and Speed Over Beethoven, and some other relatively difficult songs. Oh, and as far as PPP goes, I think I've got Made of Fire and Romeo & Juliet down pretty well now, and most of You Can Light My Fire. I need the precise hand motions for My Sweet Banana, though. And I've got most of Kiss Kiss Kiss and Popteen down now too. But some of the songs are IMPOSSIBLE to learn from the machine, like Deja Vu, Jam Jam Jam, etc. Oh, hmm, Drummania - I passed Haru~Spring and Sakura no Toki on advanced. And I played Balalaika a bunch to work on drum rolls. I'm getting a little better at that.
Yes, I've been at IZ already 18 hours this week and plan to go tomorrow. Your point?

i may not be able to make it this Wednesday. Sophia will most likely be going in for surgery early this week to remove her 6th toe...
