randoms, mostly games

Went to Berkeley tonight with a coworker, Charlie. It was pretty awesome. We were looking for D&D books for starting tomorrow's campaign... which we didn't find, but had a blast going to Games in Berkeley and to the Half Price Books and geeking out about random stuff. I ended up buying Blue Moon City and Alhambra and Dalmuti. Good times.

Last night our gang played too much Tichu at work. I switched from partnering with Waffles to Cody and that turned out to be a great move. Not sure we won overall or not, but it was so much less stressful.

I had lunch today with Jesse D! That was pretty awesome, I'm not sure I saw him since he and Kat came to Japan a few years ago. We went to Osha, which was really good Thai, and talked about random stuff. Hopefully I can catch up with more CMU friends in the south bay sometime? That'd be nice.

I can't seem to get to sleep at a decent hour this week :(
