Going through boxes of old old stuff (like, in this case, one that is labelled "desk stuff" from 2006) and finding old things like, wedding invitations from weddings I couldn't go to, or birthday/etc cards from relatives with -- I wish I was joking -- checks in them. I mean, it's just like, $20 or whatever, but I never cashed them due to various laziness/etc back then, and certainly am not about to do so now. I feel kinda bad, though.
I've been going back and shredding a lot of things I saved like bills and bank statements and whatnot from like, 1999-2005 or whatever. I can't imagine that I'll honestly actually ever need those again, right?
I've been spending a lot of time going through my stuff over the last few days/weeks, anyway, in preparation to move to San Francisco. (Good news: we may have a place. But I don't want to jinx it, so I won't be saying anything more about that until hopefully a day or two when we sign a lease.)
oh yeah, I'll be in San Francisco from Wed-Fri of this week. Starting work at Tagged fulltime on Dec 5th.
I should write an update about the last week or two, maybe I'll do that tonight. It's sad, because I've been able to use LJ to look back and pinpoint things from years ago, but I pretty much stopped writing now after my 10th LJ anniversary on Sept 16th. I think it was something I honestly needed to do, and yet I feel kinda bad about it.
