Sep. 22nd, 2011 11:42 pmWell, to be fair, I wrote up Monday on Marinerds. I did a doubleheader of Seibu and Yakult, which was pretty exhausting. Guess the only things I didn't really mention there was that despite ostensibly sitting with Takuma so we could talk in English, we didn't really spend that much time talking during the game. Shrug. I also got hit in the head with a flag by the ouendan. I'm assuming it wasn't on purpose.
And at Jingu, it was really just me and Kozo and Kentaro. Plus a few others, like their version of drunk Tanaka. Who got told to shut the fuck up by several people. Shrug.
Tuesday during the day I did an errand run to Shinjuku -- first for kaitensushi for lunch at the cheap place near the east exit, and then I went to Uniqlo to pick up some longsleeve shirts, and then to Donkey for some laundry detergent, and then I stopped in Kinokuniya but got nothing, and then went to Bic Camera to print out some photos as test prints. Whee.
Came home and then headed out with Kozo to the Tokyo Dome, we were watching the Swallows-Giants game. It sucked because the Giants won. Boy do I hate Shinnosuke Abe and Hirokazu Sawamura. But that's beside the point. Annoyingly, we bought 3 seats for the 2 of us because the outfield is so cramped at the Tokyo Dome... and then the guy to my left was a guy Kozo kinda knows from Jingu, and he ended up taking up half of one of our seats as well, so we were STILL cramped! WTF! I had a "hit&lunch" bento for dinner which was awesome as usual.
Because taking the crowded trains home right after a Giants game at the dome sucks ass, Kozo and I walked to Jimbocho and then did karaoke for 2 hours or so. Of course, this meant that instead, we still had to figure out how to get home from there afterwards, but it all mostly kindasorta worked out okay.
Wednesday was the typhoon. It wasn't so bad in the morning, and I went to Curry House for lunch and walked around a bit, but by mid-afternoon it was pouring and then it got really scary windy/rainy by 5-6pm. But everything was over by 7-8pm. We basically didn't leave the house all day. Kozo cooked meat sauce and spaghetti for dinner and we watched TV reports of all the damage and whatnot around Japan from the typhoon.
Sadly, though, I'd hoped to do two baseball games that day and they were rained out, even the Seibu Dome one :(
Thursday, I went to the National Stadium for my old JHS's track and field day. It was weird, I met the new ALT and saw a lot of old familiar students and teachers, and some new. I'd vaguely intended to go watch Chuo-Toyo at Jingu after but instead stayed for the whole rentaikai event. Shrug. Went by Jingu on my way home anyway, thought of stalking Fujioka, but then it started raining so I decided not to.
I went to Shibuya and got kaitensushi at Tenkazushi finally. So good! Then stopped in at their Krispy Kreme nearby and had the Halloween seasonal donuts, which were really good too. Came home via Shinjuku and actually decided to waste 2 hours in Shinjuku doing solo karaoke for the hell of it because, I dunno, it was early and I was bored. Came home and did laundry. The end.
