Seeing old friends and all....

After getting home super-late from the Mystery Hunt, I slept for a few hours, from maybe 7am to 2:30pm? Carl woke me up to see if I'd want to go get lunch. We ended up going to Panera in Northgate and getting sandwiches and hanging out for a bit, and then he took me to georgejas and sirdodger's house, which is a few blocks away from there, since they were having a post-Christmas party today. Of all the things going on today, it was the closest by and had the most people to visit, so I went there.

I got to see a bunch of people when I first got there, though by 6pm a whole lot of people had left -- mostly the ones who have babies (or in Heidi's case, are about to have another!). At least I got to catch a few of them before they went, and in some cases meet their new babies (like, Megan and Josh's, who is still so little I was too scared to hold him). I hung out just talking to people for a while, and when it was down to 7 of us left, we played a game of Spree (it's a Cheapass Game that I had played once or twice before, but a loooong time ago). It doesn't work very well with 7 people -- took something like 2-3 hours and there's just too much time between turns. I was into it at first but after a while was asking "When is this going to end...?"

Oh yeah, and we looked at some old photos from when we were in college and George was taking photography classes and she had used a bunch of us as models, including me. We took a "new" version of a photo she took of me back then, holding a bunny, and I was gonna post that, but instead, I think I'll post this one that I took of her playing Spree:



Whee.

Eli and Katy gave me a ride home after that game. Miranda actually lives right by here, but she was staying a bit later.
