rainy days never stays
Mar. 26th, 2009 01:54 amDidn't really do anything today after all, thanks to the rain.
I left to go to Jingu around 11:30 for Fighters-Swallows... I emailed Sakamoto like "you there yet? what's going on?" and when I got to the station, having walked through the cold rain for 10-15 minutes, I had a reply from him saying "I just got here and the game just got cancelled. Thinking of going to Narita to welcome back the WBC team..." I said I was considering the nighttime Chunichi game and was heading home. I picked up lunch from the Sunmerry bakery since I hadn't done that in a while, and came back here.
Got a packet with a Fighters fan club magazine, which means my English-speaking friend who works for the team fixed my address with the fan club... BUT I still don't know if I've paid for this year or have the bank thing done or not, nor when will I get my membership card. I guess I'll bug him again if I don't hear from him in another day or two. I hope to get it straightened out before the early April series :)
In the end, I ended up not going to the Dragons-Giants game either. Was talking to someone for quite a while, and figured that it wasn't really worth the 2000-3000 yen or more to go to the game, even though I do enjoy yelling at the Giants quite a bit. So I stayed at home for the entire day and ate some moyashi soba for dinner. And it worked out REALLY well because I got a phone call from a school I'd submitted my resume to, and they want me to come in for an interview... ASAP! So I have an interview tomorrow morning. Like in 8 hours. Yay awesomeness etc. Unfortunately this also means not going to Chiba tomorrow either. I might make it to the Jingu game to use my free ticket but that's about it.
I'm happy. And winning at Boggle. These may or may not be related facts. ;)
