Fushigi na fushigi na Ikebukuro
Mar. 4th, 2008 12:09 amSo, yeah, with a brief stop in Akabane to do a few things at GEOS, I went down to Ikebukuro to meet up with Pau.
It seems, though, that the "Ball park TRPG" is actually more of a baseball card/dice game and less of an actual RPG. He's lending me the book while he's out of the country again, so I'll look through it a bit, but I'm a lot less enthusiastic about it than I was when I just saw it in the wrapper at Yellow Submarine :(
Also, we went to karaoke. It turns out that we like L'arc en Ciel in common, but other than that and maybe some old Spitz and some baseball songs we didn't sing much together. Whoops! Next time we can talk about what music we like in advance. And uh, maybe I should learn Rokko Oroshi, and the Baystars song, and We Love Love Love Love Love Marines, and some other stuff. On the other hand I actually managed to sing all of "every little thing every precious thing" by Lindberg, aka "The Kyuji Fujikawa entrance song". Yes, in Japan, our closers don't come out to badass heavy metal, but to cheesy female pop singers.
(You know, I think I have like four different singing voices these days. Some combination of high voices and low voices and imitating different singers and... I'm not even sure what my natural voice is anymore.)
Pau also sang some song in Chinese... it reminded me of several months ago when I was karaokeing with Krispy and Sophie, and Sophie was singing songs in Chinese and I was looking at the katakana the whole time being confused because the kanji have weird pronunciations :)
Came home and watched Ainori and ( I wanted to throw things at my TV for the entire episode. )
