japan day 6

There was a guy sitting on the computer chatting for an hour and he got mad when I asked if I could log in for a few minutes. Sheesh.

Um, let me say this. Rain SUCKS and typhoons SUCK and this is going to totally ruin my fucking trip, I swear to god. I picked September because it's NOT the rainy season, so what the hell? sigh.

We went to Osaka Castle today. It was weird because the outside is a castle and the inside is a modern museum. We learned a lot about Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

Then we went to Koshien, only the game got RAINED OUT so instead I just sulked a lot... ended up getting a ticket to Saturday's game instead from an outlet in the Umeda station. This sucks. This rain sucks. A LOT. At least the games I want to see in the Nagoya Dome and Osaka Dome can't rain out. It looks like even Hiroshima's going to get hit by it. The forecast is rain for the WHOLE time I'm in Japan. Goddamn goddamn goddamn goddamnit.

We got okonomiyaki for dinner and then wandered to the Tsuruhashi station to find the Bookoff. It's listed as ekimae and that actually means it's IN THE STATION, no joke, they even have a train ticket admittance thing that goes RIGHT into the store! craziness.

I was wearing a Hanshin Tigers #6 Kanemoto t-shirt all day and got some weird looks but at the end of the day was accosted by some Tigers fans in the covered street mall who were all like "YAY TIGERS FAN!!!!" which was weird.

um.

I'm too tired to remember more. We're going to Nagoya tomorrow to see the castle and a Dragons game and a whole fucking lot of rain. Goodnight.
