Yesterday I returned that stupid 120 GB drive to Best Buy, and picked up a better USB mouse to use with my laptop for the time being. (Actually, it's a better mouse, period, so it's not a bad buy)
I watched the first two discs of my Sledge Hammer DVD set last night. Goddamn, but that show is the best thing that has ever been on television.
Today I got up intending to exercise. It was cold and rainy so instead of heading to Greenlake, I went to Sunset Bowl and played DDR for like 5 games. I suck, but I got exercise.
I came home, showered and changed, and I was originally going to go wander the university district for the evening -- I want to go to Half Price Books sometime, and thought a salad for dinner might do me some good, and Jamba Juice, etc... then kind of talked myself out of it, in a sort of "but you don't need to go spend more money on books and CDs and movies right now. you have stuff to watch, and you also don't need to waste the gas driving around, and you have food here..." way.
Which is not to say I didn't enjoy the evening. I'm almost done writing my Puzzle Hunt entry -- my goal is by this weekend since it'll be a month -- and I led a war brig pillage on PP -- and I've been catching up with C for the last 4-5 hours -- but still --
I want to be *doing* something, going somewhere.
And I'm still working on resuscitating my web page. But not too particularly hard...
I wrote a poem the other night, but I can't post it here until the 28th.

(Technically I have a few more, like the Wooden Walleye from the song parody contest, and the Sporting Bullhead from OCL Season 4, and the Yummy Chocolatefish which Jason gave me after Turtle III, and the Half Tench, which I traded for so I could have a red/natural Tench...)
The Ultimate Carp! My first rename :) It was a present from Kuibbles back in the day.
I repainted it to match my colors when they put ship painting in, though.
The Emcee Hammerhead. The first rename I paid for. All because of my infamy over a little parody song I wrote. It's still painted red/green for the holidays because I am lazy.
I won the Ultimate Carpenter cutter in the duty puzzle bake-off thingy where Tedv got his familiar. I tied with someone else, and she wanted it too, but see, I was #4 in the ocean in carp at that point or something, so I kinda won the coin toss, so to speak. Plus I was bitter that they were originally going to give away a *third* Ultimate Carp at that event. (Someone else got one after mine.)

damienroc, who surprised me with it one day... "What adjective do you want?" "Huh?" "I have a carp for you." "Well, uh... Sublime!" Since I had just reached Sublime... even though Jainasolo beat me to it. It's still the original colors from when Damien gave it to me. It's neat.
After an incredible OCL Sea Battle match, where I swordfought and defeated 4 humans by myself, Shuranthae got me the Most Valuable Carp as a trophy. I'd mentioned it here before, though.
And a bit after that I got sold a random shanghai point and thought my alt deserved her very own eponymous ship, the Third Ling. The character is a ghost and is white white white, so the ship is too. Whee.
I have been wanting to start a baseball carp collection for so long! My first one is the lovely Hiroshima Carp, named after the Japanese baseball team of the same name. The team's colors are red/white, and I painted the ship that to match, and made myself a "baseball outfit" for the screenshot. Damien says that Baseball Carp would also be a good ship name :) I'll have to see about that sometime.
And then out of nowhere, Parka just gifted me the Canonical Carp! I was absolutely speechless... I used that as my tagline for my original PP portrait, and he was just like "I don't think there is anyone in the ocean who could appreciate this as much as you can," and he even painted it red/yellow. I was really really surprised and happy. Parka rules.
