random babbling
Dec. 21st, 2004 02:23 amI played a lot of Pop'n'Music with I-Gene last night, and I'll spare you the details. Needless to say, I think I need to go order PNM 10. Probly will wait until I get back from Texas, though. (I don't even know if anyone of the Texas Bemani folks play Pop'n anyway...)
My throat is still sore. This still SUCKS a great deal.
Everyone bagged pub quiz today, so I ended up being at work until like 9:30pm. I finished commenting up one of my scripts and got my boss to test it. He seemed happy with it. I guess that's good. I have a doc review on Wednesday. I can't focus at work because my head hurts and my throat hurts. Bleh.
A lot of exciting stuff is going on in the baseball world. Well, not really exciting to the Mariners per se, but there are a whole bunch of interesting non-tendered players this year. Eckstein, Davis, Miller, Cora, and Telemaco are probably the most interesting to me. Cody Ransom for personal trivia reasons too (I was at the game he hit his first major league home run at, last August, Giants vs. Phillies). I kind of wonder what will happen to poor Ben Davis. Maybe some more time in the minors would do him good. But, Wade Miller, David Eckstein, and Alex Cora are odd players to give up.
I think I'm going to start cheering for the Texas Rangers next year, just to annoy everyone. Oh, I mean, I'll still go to Mariners games and all, but I'll be pulling for Texas as my second team in the AL. Well, Texas and the Red Sox. Argh!
I'm seriously debating starting a baseball blog of some sort, or at least separating out all of my baseball content into something so I can keep track of it better. We shall see. It'll be a side project. I've also got plenty of baseball pictures from the last year that I could make a cool webpage out of if I wasn't so lazy. Maybe it'll be something I can work on during the days when I'm in Texas, if people are at work.
