Lazy Friday
Aug. 7th, 2004 06:05 amSo yeah. When the Digeo guy called me back today, I said "I'd like to meet with you guys again sometime next week and ask some more questions, if that's cool." He said sure. So I am still pondering that.

datavore's place for dinner tonight because he was making chili. His idea of chili is vastly different than Eli's (a lot less veggies, no beans, etc) but essentially it was meat and tomatoey things and onions and peppers and spices and tequila (sadly he couldn't find Black Death tequila). Marty's house is a lot less scary when it is only him and his friend Dana and me, as opposed to tons and tons of people I don't know. Hee. Like the dork I am, I brought over my laptop and went on PP for half an hour to do OCL brawl (they needed me - my team only had 2 people on, though with the 3 of us we actually went 3-1, pretty crazy), which while it was dorky, I mean, otherwise I would have been watching a pot of chili simmer, so hey.
We ate chili and sat around listening to modern filk music and talking and stuff for a couple hours. I guess I went home around 11:30pm. It had stopped raining by then at least.
So I came home and I logged into PP and did some Opal memming for an hour or two. I had the weirdest craving for chocolate chip cookies. I have no idea why. Anyway, Chern came on board to rechart me (he has Opal memmed, so I'm using his brain as a map, he was working on Sapphire while I did Opal) around whatever, 2am, and we ended up chatting until 5:30am instead, and now the sun is up so I should go to sleep. I really didn't intend to stay up this late.
Oh, and for the record -- Chris Foy did IM me this afternoon to say "Crap, I didn't have your contact info, come to my party" but it was raining and I was just like, "eh, I'm going to go help make chili later," so I just did that. I may go to IZ tomorrow night if nothing else pops up though :)
