On a Clear Day You Can See Forever
Mar. 8th, 2004 12:07 pmBus ride this morning - I was reading Ball Four because J won't get off my case about reading it. Occasionally I'd glance out the windows and see how cool it was that you could clearly see the snowcapped peaks of the mountains to the west and the east, and even Rainier was poking its head up to the South. It's really warm out, and simply beautiful, today, in Seattle.
Of course, the most notable thing to me was that I could see a line of people going around the corner from some building around Stewart or Olive street. I knew we were several blocks past the Cinerama, so I was confused, until it hit me: It was the Mariners team store. There was literally a line coming out of the store, of people trying to buy Mariners tickets. Damn, I'm glad I have my season tickets ordered :)
