Lightning and Thunder (and beans, too)

Yar. Slept in today. Played some PP and then walked to Megan and Josh's house around 6:30-7pm. Incase you are in Seattle and were not aware of the weather, that is about when we were having a huge downpour COMPLETE with lightning... oh man, there is NOTHING quite as scary as lightning striking close enough to you that you almost thought someone had just taken a very loud camera and snapped a picture with a very big flash and a second later it goes BOOM thunder at you. I was pretty terrified, walking up Aurora... so I went into the Halloween Store that's in the Chubby Tubby building. In a word or two, it sucks. Good thing I wasn't counting on getting any Halloween stuff there.

Walked the rest of the way there, and had a pretty good evening of hanging out and playing games. Seung and Justin and Cory and Heidi were there, and me and Megan and Josh, and Megan made lasagna for dinner, and then all of us minus Megan played a game called Medici, which Josh won and I placed second due to him giving Heidi a card that tied her for two point counts with me. Then we played Bohnanza the Board Game, which is called Bean Traders or something, but I've forgotten. Anyway, I don't think I liked it as much as I like normal Bohnanza. It's like the bean game combined with Iron Dragon or Merchant of Venus or whatever, except you don't get to draw with crayons or buy spaceports, so it's not as much fun. Josh won and I placed second, but this time it was just due to him blowing us all away.

Seung gave me a ride home and I've been chillin' the rest of the evening... some PP, some other stuff. Busy day tomorrow, but it should be fun.
